ACCUMULATION

An unhealthy trend today, in human society is a very disturbing psychological deficiency in humankind. Accumulation is a very one-sided mental under-development in human beings, which deprives the fellow species of living-survival mechanisms. Accumulation much more than the actual luxurious living quantity, is nothing but a sense of stagnation generated out of the hallucination of greed.

If we take into account, the substance of the spirit of wealth, than wealth is not a rigid thing but an ever-moving Universal spirit, which moves constantly taking care of the whole Universe. But because of humanity’s insufficient way of perception, the wealth or the Universal spirit, is stuck-up here and there, causing a great dis-harmony, the great survival technique disruption, the cause for all the problem the Universe is facing, at present.

Most of all, we are accumulating the apathy for the Universal Nature, forgetting altogether, where lies the very ingredients for our survival.

The sense of accumulation makes one extremely selfish, to a point of no return. Most of the Earth’s surface is cleared of forest covers today, not by the poor or the tribals living in the forest as it is presented most of the time, but by the rich and the powerful with their mega projects, and are totally unconcerned about the Universal environmental degradation and destruction…

When we, are in a race for ever more accumulation of wealth for comfort and security, would it not also be proper for us to ruminate, what could give us comfort from the sufferings of the diseases caused by viruses created through ecological disruptions, who could save us from acid rain or a flood or a cyclone…

Humanity should try to look for its security from Mother Nature, who alone can give us a life of eternal youth free of diseases . Without the transformation of our ignorance about Nature we couldn’t gain happiness, youth and immortality.

The first condition for everlasting youth is calmness and tolerance. One cannot maintain calmness without tolerance, which will not be possible with all the above complications in one’s body’s system.

“The Materis Medicas like ‘Bhavaprakasam’, ‘Rajanighantu’ etc. mention another variety of Vaca, Svetavaca or hymavati (Velvayampu), which ‘Dravyagunavijnan’ identified as Iris germanich.

It is reported that there is another variety of Vaca (Acorus gramineus soland) found growing abundantly in the Himalayas. Om Svetavach mentioned in ancient textbooks might perhaps be this plant.
